hi. i was searching the rosacea tag and i saw your post... i have it too :/ the doctors said it was extremely uncommon to see it in someone my age, i'm 16, and nothing they've prescribed me helped. the only thing that did help was a laser treatment, but i can't do that anymore because its so expensive... i have very red cheeks, and blotchy too.. i just wanted to ask if anything you've tried has helped? thanks..
Hey, I know the feeling! It’s horrible isn’t it! I’ve had it since I was a child, and my doctor said the same thing. I haven’t tried the laser treatment, does it work at all? so far on my quest, I haven’t found anything. Apparently GOSH do a kind of greeny colour based one that covers it, and you apply normal make up over the top, and that’s supposed too help, but every sort of green product I’ve tried so far has just made me look like I’m ill. What I’m going to do is to investigate some of the make up by company’s like AVON that claim to neautralise skin tone and see how they work. As I’m a student I don’t have a lot of cash so I can’t like try them all at once, but every-time I do try one I’ll post something about it with the tagg :)
NB. I’ve found that Lush’s Jackie Oates colour supplement is pretty good for a partial cover up, I’m really pale so it’s a good foundation for me anyhow, but they do other colours too :) If you apply a layer, wait about half an hour and apply another one, it kinda evens the skin tone out more than most foundations that cost the same amount. Be warned though, it smells a bit like biscuits :P
